Founded in 1937, the Krakowiak Polish Dancers of Boston are the oldest active Polish folk dance ensemble in the U.S. They perform over 40 traditional dances from across Poland, complete with authentic regional costumes. Under the direction of Andrea Haber, the group shares Polish heritage through vibrant performances at festivals, cultural events, and private celebrations throughout New England.
Lajkonik Children's Dance Troupe
The Lajkonik Children's Dance Troupe is the youth division of the Krakowiak ensemble, nurturing the next generation of Polish dancers. These talented young performers, ages 6 to 13, light up the stage with colorful costumes and spirited folk routines, showcasing the joy and pride of Polish culture. Lajkonik regularly performs at community events, including Polish Fest Boston and Polish Night at Fenway Park.
